Very nice bike, but probably illegal here.

If you could use a ZX10R that was originally a 4-stroke, you could get away with this (if it was previously a US titled bike).
Sounds pretty expensive, though.

Yeah, that they do, BUT if its like, a trackbike, who cares? If I were more able to afford it, I'd get it, just for the playing with it factor. 2 strokes dont live long, but really, they ARE fun.

Yea, well, if you had the money and it was a trash bike for the track then it doesn't really matter. Personally I think you could get a bike that will be more 'fun' if you went turbo versus 2 stroke for road race track days.
Here's a guy that's on another site that I'm on. He built his bike fairly cheap if I remember correctly. His bike has about 240hp and I'm pretty sure he takes it to track days. Anything over 200hp is a lot for a stock length/stock height street bike.

Saw a zx14 turbo today at the hess in B-Ville. Guy said around 240-250 hp with only 6 lbs boost. Claims he is gonna turn it up towards the end of the summer, maybe 12-14 lbs.... Stock height/wheelbase also. Said it was a handful to control

Yea, that would be a handful! I'm surprised he found a turbo kit for that bike. Room is limited on the 14 because of the monocoque frame and stuffing a turbo is close to impossible! I know McXpress made a few kits but stopped because of plenum difficulty.
What color was his bike? If I see him up there someday I'll take a look at it.
Thanks for the post.

Now a turbo ZX14 with stock height and length is a scary thought. I'd imagine the front end would lift quite easy on something that powerful.

No............ But it will be 1 hell of a fun, terrifying, Fast fucking ride until the end.
Bro if I had the money. I would move to the salt flats. I enjoy going fast more than anything else. If money were not object, I guarantee I would be going 230 mph.

I've met Chris Jones a few times at Prostar. He's seems to be a good guy, good drag racer, and a good tuner.
I've never seen his site before nor have I seen his turbo systems. From looking at the header/turbo/wastegate set-up they look pretty good. If you win the lottery you could just drop your bike off with Chris and get the pro street package!
