    Rotella... No mas

Heads up boys and girls... Rotella changed its formula about 8 months ago and is no longer okay for your clutch.

    Where did you hear this?
"Beware of the lollipop of mediocrity. One lick and you'll suck forever!"Brian Willson

“I guess it's because we all want to believe that what we do is very important, that people hang on to our every word, that they care what we think. The truth is, you should consider yourself lucky if you even occasionally get to make someone - anyone - feel a little better. After that, it's all about the people that you've let into your life.”— J.D.

Wasn't a fan of the stuff. Tried it in my Kan-O-Tuna years ago, the bike was not happy and have stayed away from it since.

I've used it on my Concours, R1, 954, zx6, klr, ninja 250, cbr250r, gsxr 600, sv650, sv 1000, zx7....and that is just in the last 10 years or so.

Looks like Rotella T6's new formula will not be getting friction reducers, meaning it will still be fine to use. On the COG website some high mile riders have been using the new blend and have not noticed a difference. When i get home I will look at the bottle I just put in my Concours a few hundred miles back. I'll keep you updated.

Just did a 2500 mile trip on the VFR and a couple track days on the FZ1 using the new T6 in both. No issues so far with clutch slippage.
