well, I went and done it. I took asphalt surfing lessons.

So I definitely did it today. I crashed out on US19 heading home on my Harley. Gotta say I took the majority of the hurt, got rash on my shoulder, both elbows, palms, knees, and left fingertips.

I got back up afterward, so I suppose it's alright, since I did walk away. The bike isn't too bad, but I don't want to ride for a week. Lucky for me, the guy behind me had a trailer, and helped me get home. I'm so glad he didn't hit me accidentally. But I"m alive, and nothing is broken, so I'll recover.

Thank you guys. I knew I'd join this club sooner or later. I'm grateful for the fact that I only got what I did. Helmets save lives! Mine isn't really bad, but even the little rash it DID have, would've been a chunk out of my hair.

I hope to fix the HD in coming weeks, and build her better. Everyone who knows me knows I don't quit.

I'm not 100% sure. I hit my front brake, and the front end went sideways. you can figure the rest from there. I'll heal, it just hurts. The bike didn't even take much damage either. which is insane considering I was doing 55-60.

Glad you are here drawing air. Hope the pain is subsiding. Hoe you don't mind the AAR questions and you can pass on them if you need to as I am sure insurance and LEO might still be gathering info. Other than the helmet what sort of safety gear where ya wearing? In hindsight and short of staying home is there anything you think you could have done different to avoid the incident.

Again so glad you are still with us and wish you a very speedy recovery.

On this one, There wasn't much I could've done different. besides putting my leather jacket and gloves on. At the root, an OLD OLD front tire is the culprit. Fortunately, I'm healing alright, aside from a little pain. Mistake NOT soon forgottten. I promise that much.

Of me or the bike? Because I don't even HAVE the harley anymore, and 99% of me is healed now. I try not to photograph these things.
