Needs playing cards in the spokes to make that nifty motor sounds.

Is the crank damaged? Looks a tad rough.

I think it'll be ok (with a quick polishing) but I welcome opinions. The crankshaft is toast though.

Mine is waiting for the Love Bug season to end, for the rainy season to end,
and for cooler, dryer air to rule the day (& night).

Looks okay, but when it comes up to such a high performance engine.....I would get a second opinion.

all you need to do is use plastigauge on the bearing to make sure it's in specs. That part of the cap just holds the bearing and the locking tabs look fine.

Cooling down from just being ridden. Waiting for next weekend when I ride it again (unless I decide to ride it to work). Unlikely though. Can't be wasting my Diablos on straightline expressway riding. Although,... there is that sweet curve from I-75 onto the Crosstown.

    We'll see...

The Old Man Ninja is having a rest after a 1200+ mile rambling trip from West Virginia back to Tampa. Was a great time to ride the hills last week! Sitting on the BRP here.14900329_1317028765008052_2442448950702204043_n.jpg
