    2008 Turbo Hayabusa VIN JS1GX72A582112201

    Fellow Members,

I'll tell ya.........as much as I love this bike, I'm not riding it anymore. I've transitioned into an office job, so between that time commitment and my kids I just don't have time to ride anymore. It's a shame to, because it's the fastest and most streetable turbo bike I've ever owned!

    Here are the basics:

    2008 Hayabusa

    Turbo set-up:
McXpress K27/K26 twin flow hybrid w/Tial external wastegate
    McXpress Twin Flow Header
    RCC Turbo Exhaust
    RCC Ultra Plenum
Woolich Racing Log Box and ECU Editor
    RC 650CC Injectors
    Bosch 044 Fuel Pump
    HKS blow off
Heat exchangers in the ram air tubes

    Motor:
Gen I JE Super Duty pistons
    Gen I Crower rods
Gen II crank balanced, polished, and chamferd oil passages by Falicon
Vance and Hines H/D Cam Chain
Robinson H/D output shaft, cut gears, clip mod, and O/D 5th and 6th by R&D Motorsports
    APE H/D shift shafts
Gen II Cylinder with Nikasil plating service and honing by Millennium Technologies
    .125 base spacer
Gen II head w/ Ferrea stainless valves and APE H/D springs with CNC valve job performed by KWS Motorsports
    ARP 10mm head studs
    ARP main studs
    ARP H/D Case Bolts
    Falicon windage tray
    H/V oil gear
    APE Adjustable cam sprockets
    APE Manual Cam Chain Tensioner
Andersson boost compensated lock up clutch
    Mocal Oil Cooler
    Emtes Scavange Pump
    RCC Case Saver

The bike was built by me, and tuned by me with help from Bill Warner. At 15LBS of boost it will put out well over 300 HP.

    Price:
    $15,500 US

Pictures: I need to take some more with the fairings on it. I'll work on that over the next few days.

    Very sorry to hear.

Serious power on that bike. By far the strongest bike I've ever seen on the street for sure.

If anyone buys it, I'll provide free instructions on how to stuff the motor into an MG Midget

Interesting 342/189 hp/torque at 15 psi, my gen 1 is 338/199 at the same boost.

    Holy Horsepower Batman!

It is the fastest, most powerful motorcycle I have ever ridden.
    I wish you success in the sale . . . .

Btw, my ZX-14 has been asking for you; it has been
wondering when you are going to take it out for the day trip?

Thanks for the kind words men.

I've had quite a bit of interest in the bike thus far.

My favorite and most common question is "What is it like at full throttle?". My response is "It's an animal, 5th gear wheelies are amazing". "Just make sure you stock up on chains, sprockets, rear tires, and clean underwear".

Please post up your dyno sheet.

I'd like to see the RPM axis and how the two compare. Honestly, there isn't much of a difference between a gen I and II motor.

Bear in mind this is a rear wheel measurement, going through the clutch, trans, driveshaft, and rear end...

    Ian,

Thanks for posting. I wonder if your car hit the rev limiter, chopped the throttle, or lost traction between 8688 and 9625 RPM? I say this because there's a dip in the HP, but it comes back. You may have more power in that thing! Hell, shoot for 400 man!

I believe your turbo spins up a little faster than mine regarding HP and torque, but yours also runs out of steam earlier. Either way, forced induction is better than NA!

It really ran out of steam when the boost was set higher. I think a bigger turbo would be needed for more power. There is no point to doing that though as I get wheelspin in all 6 gears as it is.

On a side note, I am considering some water injection to keep EGT's lower. I am looking at the RCC's kit. Any thoughts? Should I inject pre turbo or into the intake plenum?

I'm really not that familiar with the water injection systems. I would call Richard and get his recommendation. The guy has been building some of the fastest bikes on the planet, so I suspect he'll provide you with the best advice.

The only problem with getting an injection system now is you'll have to re-tune. That's going to cost you!

DAMN!!! that dyno sheet makes something happen inside of me. I like it. lol

Those torque numbers... good lord. After my bike was done, I was thrilled to get 80 lbs.

Someone buy stock in MG tires!!!
