    Power Coating shops

Not quite sure which forum to put this in...Reviews sounded like the best bet.

I'm looking for a decent powder coater around the Riverview/Brandon area. I would like to get my heel guards PC'ed. Which place have you used in the past, and would recommend me checking out?

    Thanks!

Read up on it, you might be able to do it yourself.

thanks for the vote of confidence but I'll leave it to the experienced. If I was to do it myself, I'd rattle can the things but I'm not going to do that.

Can't recommend anyone around Brandon or Riverview but Pro-Coat in Tampa over behind the airport has always done awesome work for me at a reasonable price. Only open Monday through Friday though, and they do get busy at times.

I'll second the Pro-Coat. They did the rims on my last bike.

not to hijack but how about ceramic coatings? I may get my exhaust done and would prefer to not have to ship if possible.

There's a place in Brandon I came across tonight during a Google Search. They also do ceramic coating. I'm not sure where in the Bay area you are but the place is called:

    S&W Racing Technologies
    1529 Hobbs St.
    Tampa, FL 33619
    www.enginearmorcoating.com

I plan on swinging in there Wednesday or Thursday to see if they'll powder my heel guards.

Thanks Bry! I live down in Riverview so these folks are very close and will chat with them when I get back from Indy.

i emailed them and they said that they cant do used pipes on the inside due to the carbon but have read that it is possible and folks like jet-hot do it. I think they media blast them first and then rinse them with a solution to clean them out and prep the surface.

Once I get home I am going to disassemble and send em off for the treatment. This thing is fun to ride but slow dry roasting of my junk needs to be dealt with.
