Beware of Buy Here Pay Here Motor Sports on Eastbay Dr in LARGO
they sold my ex a bike a couple weeks ago and she has already sunk $1500 into repairs. The owner is an ass hole and refuses to stand by his product. She took the bike to spinworks and they found so much shit wrong with her bike. All their bikes are pieced back together. Be prepared for a huge headache. They have a 30 day warranty supposedly and like i said it has been only a couple week and he will not allow her to get her money back. If you have any questions about this place please feel free to message me and ask any questions.

Not suprised. They just changed the name of the place. It was eco green machines. Very shady company!

Is that 30 day warranty on paper? Maybe see about taking it to a certified mechanic or have the shop you took it to write down everything that is wrong with the bike. Take it to them and have them fix it or get a lawyer.

I'm sure some people on here will give you some better info.
    Sorry.

After that, it's all about the people that you've let into your life.”— J.D.

Yea she got a Quote for all the stuff that needs to be fixed by Spinwerks and took it to him. She said he belittled them and said they were armatures. I see why some people snap and go on rampages!

If you warned her, and she did not heed your warning; she basically should not complain, she got what was expected.

You're expecting her to follow a logical thought. Most women don't do that. .

Not a fan of Barney's. Stick with sponsors here simply because word of mouth is gold. If a sponsor treats you well, you'll read about it, if they don't you will also so it's in THEIR BEST INTEREST to keep you/us happy. If Barney's pisses you off, so what? If a sponsor does, alot of us here will know it and make our decisions accordingly. Places like Manx and Eurocycles do well in part because they treat us well and we respond in kind by patronizing their business.

Also have her check out Fun Bike Center. While out in Lakeland, they have a massive inventory and probably deal with 2nd tier lenders which was probably part of the appeal of that buy here, pay here place.

    Fixed!

In my 53 years of life, this issue runs about 50/50 between men and women.
    Where women are usually ruled by emotions, men usually stumble over their pride;
and in both situations, logical thinking is not embraced, nor even manifested.

I remember GOAM started his own website bashing them a few years ago. That got to them quickly. I think he got his problem fixed after that. I suggest you call a lawyer. It won't cost you a thing and they may get you what you want. DO IT QUICKLY before time runs out!

Here is what I don't understand:

A person is making a 'big to them' purchase, meaning a large financial output for their current state of economics. This same person is completely ignorant of what they are buying except for color choices. This same person signs on the dotted line without ever consulting a 3rd party who is either unbiased or has THEIR best interests at heart. That makes this person a fool. We know the old addage: A fool and his(her) money are soon parted.

So... Why are we supposed to feel bad for a fool?

It isn't so much "feeling bad for them [the fools]" as it is "trying to stop a dishonest and/or thieving business"!
Anyone or any business that preys on fools for whatever reason, is worthy of my hate,
regardless of my feelings towards said fool.

I'll buy that. I just get frustrated with all the stories. People who don't know about homes get a home inspection before they buy. A car is likely the second largest purchase after a home that anyone will ever make. Why don't they pay for a vehicle inspection?
