From one internet idiot to my family of internet idiots:

1) Every single one of us was (or still is) an idiot on this forum at one time or another.
2) Stupid people do in fact get treated poorly - this is in many ways in support of how life works: Act like an idiot, get smacked in the head.
3) HOWEVER - when someone STOPS acting like an idiot no one is served by continuing to drag his or her name through the mud.
4) Call outs, Flame wars, other idiotic nonsense - this is not what we're about and even if you're an old timer, a friend, a buddy, a cohort or the guy who bailed one of us out of jail none of us are immune from the rules.

If someone just begs you to tell them what a total, complete, MORON they are - fine, do so.

If they want to talk about bikes, babes, bikes and babes, rides, riding, routes, technical issues, things they need to buy or other advice they deserve the right to be here, have their questions answered (or ignored) without being personally attacked for something they said or did somewhere else.

Stupid people don't change - period. However, even average guys and gals can ACT stupid from time to time and they CAN change. Before we close the door on someone let's remember the last time WE were the stupid one.

Everyone gets a chance, some of us here have had second and third chances.

Before I actually signed up for a TSB account in 2006, I read a bunch of threads & thought that TSB was entirely made up of homosexual motorcycle riders. I'm not kidding. I wish I could dig up the threads I was reading at the time... threads, plural. There was more than one thread in which both virtual reach-arounds and offers of anal penetration were being exchanged simultaneously.

From the outside, this site absolutely appears to be a collection of misfits. There's an ebb and a flow. Morons come & morons go. Some people, try as they might, only piss people off by trying to fit this whack-a-doo mold. I'm as guilty as anyone of being caught up in the flame-chucking. I have a razor-thin tolerance of stupidity, but unfortunately I hate missing stuff, so the Ignore button is an entirely alien concept to me.

If you're looking for a point, you should have skipped this post. I don't know where I was going with this.
