HJC said the helmet would be just fine with new mechs and Cycle Springs said the same. The HJC rep @ HJC Ca. told me my best bet for a refund is to fix it with the new mechs they're sending me and sell it. I do have mixed feelings about pawning it on someone else but, if someone wants it cheap and they know what i've been through with it, they can make their own decision.
