    RIP our dear Rachel Lavine

    Last night a dear friend and wife of my friend and fellow co-worker was killed last night on W Boy Scout Blvd on her R6. As far as I know she went to ride sXs with her husband (he on R1) and she unknowingly entered a turnlane or something and hit a curb head on at 35mph. The bike stopped and tumbled end over end. She was wearing a helmet but she was killed on impact. Our poor James had to work his wife and give her to fellow EMS to continue. As far as I know she was transported to St. Joes and they worked her until results came that her neck had been broken.

    Rachel was one of if not THE kindest persons I knew. She was always smiling and would lift the spirits of any room she walked into. She had an adventurous heart and enjoyed riding bikes, horses, shooting, etc. I don't have much more to say, I want to express so many feelings yet I don't know how.....she was just a great person...it's just not fair.

    My thoughts go out to James and his and Rachel's families. We will be with you 24/7 brother!

    Thank you all! I really wish you all had the chance to meet her. She was a really cool chick and her and James were loving and inseparable couple. If we set up a memorial ride I'll let you know. I can't even look at my bike right now....
