Back in the old days before we knew what a trackday was endurance was the best way to get fast for the least amount of money. It's all about the seat time!!! Good post Griff!

Thanks Moke, and i heard back in the OLD days, racing was the only way to get on a track. Track days have been awesome to the newer generation of racers/riders... and a blessing to us all....

I think it would be pretty damn sweet to be able to be so close to pit stops and such for a race like this.

Less bickering about how dangerous this is. You are on a sportbike for shit's sake. If you think it's dangerous, simple solution to that problem... DON"T GO!!!!

For the other side, if you think this is a race you might be interested in, GO!!! Don't the let the words of an internet tough guy deter you from something you want to do. If you think it might be cool to watch, here's a piece of advice for you. Get off your ass, gear up and take a ride to the track to watch it. Bickering about this shit on the internet is so regoddamndiculous.

I can see why so many people are turned off by this site. It's seriously like a bunch of fuggin 3rd graders. Yes you can, no you can't yada yada fuckin ya.

Ok now that I got that off my chest.... LilRichard, do you have any details other than you need to have a license and the 2 classes? There didn't seem to be much info about this whole setup on the website.

Good info to include for the noobs might be how an endurance race is setup, what to expect and things of that nature.

Somewhere between 1 and 10 sets.... Depends on too many factors: bike, bike setup, riding style, tire selected, weather, how quickly you can change them, etc....

I would imagine 2 fronts and 4 rears for the top teams.

It sure has! I'm positive that it's saved many of accidents on the street. This was the main reason I came onto this site was to get as many people onto the track as possible and from the responses throughout I believe it's been a success! Specially with "your" love of riding and racing Griff! Kudo's

One key to endurance racing is finding two riders that are around the same weight and size for obvious reasons. The next qualification is both riders being around the same speed, not mandatory but it makes it more consistant and each rider gives the same effort.

Chris - it seems like this is being done "on the fly", there is some data on the JGP site - but it points to "WERA rules in effect" more or less.

Other than needing a bike, two to five licensed dudes and some spare tires, I think that's it.

    For a 4hr I would use either 2 or 3riders at most.
