Not bragging at all. Just trying to illustrate that value is relative. While you may have a hot new blazing fast processor (albeit just an i5), that is about it. You have no significant video in it so unless somebody wants to crunch math it is overkill. You have no more ram than the average pc nowadays. The power supply is inadequate at 250W. And that case looks like one I threw out 10 years ago.
It ain't no Blue Waffle special for sure.
I guess the point here is that what you offering is of no use to gamers as-is, and non-gamers wouldn't care about the "only measurable using software" improved performance aspects of it vs. something older/slower/cheaper. Your target market seems to be somebody who wants to use it for parts to build it back up to a gaming box, and a lot of those guys are wary of buying somebody's overclocked/overheated hardware. They are also into the "artistic" nature of the build like Mr. Waffle so them buying fugly hardware is unlikely.
Bragging would be me telling you that I am writing this on my i7 17" laptop with AMD FirePro M8900 Mobility Pro Graphics 2gb video - while I am also using my i7 15" laptop w/ 2gb video along with my new to me/purty/cheap/old technology desktop that is now connected to my dual 28" monitors. But that would be rude.
Sorry for suggesting you lower your price and explaining why I thought so. Was just trying to help.
The price he is asking is fair, only thing I don't understand is how he got away with a 250w powersupply.
