Who has it? What do you think of the gameplay? PS3 Screen names?

I got it a couple weeks ago. I think I'm about half way thru the story mode. The story is probably better than any other offline game of this type. A lot to keep you entertained. Pretty graphic, too. Currently level 20 or so on my DeathByTrauma screen name. I'm also level 17 on my Sprocket1978 account, but I don't use that one anymore.
Game play is quite different from the COD series. I didn't like it at first, but getting used to it. Somewhat irritating that it takes him longer to do things, such as throw a grenade or change weapons, but also more realistic. Bullet-time is also cool. Has a bit more options as far loadout mods.

I have it for XBOX360. Its ok. To be honest Im getting sick of these shoot em up running around. I'll be glad when the next Splinter Cell game comes out next year. I liked the stealthy, kill them quietly and move on as oppossed to the "guns blazing" shooters that have been out for a while.

I very much enjoyed the first and second Max Paynes, and the third one is no exception. All on PC for me. One thing I didn't like from the start (damn console interference) is the checkpoints, and not being able to quick save/load. Best part of earlier Max Payne games was to keep reloading at a specific point to bust in and wreck a room full of baddies in various ways using the bullet-time and different weapons. I guess I can still do that in way with this one but meh. Other than that, graphics are fantastic and it feels pretty smooth. I'm around ch.5 I think, fun fun!

Yeah, the two earlier games were great. I played them both on PC as well. I agree with camel in a way. I miss being able to sit and snipe. Not that I did it a lot, but the run & gun stuff does get old. It seems to be just a constant high speed battle of reflexes.
When I get sick of online play, I go back to the story mode for a while. It's more relaxing.
See ya on there, voo. Don't forget to at my new screen name: DeathByTrauma.

I haven't been able to try multiplayer yet, curious. Although I dunno about you guys and this run & gun, all I seem to be doing is taking cover and being real cautious haha

I bought the day it came out for the single player, but after a couple days I got online and never went back to story mode. I got stuck trying to mod up my guns and unlock new stuff. I'm pretty nasty, and I hope none of you are soft lock scrubs!!

LOL. I played soft lock at the beginning just to learn the game, but hell no! Soft lock is gay. Just now beat the story mode on free aim. I'm level 25 or so online and mostly play free aim Deathmatch.

    LOL

I need to play more. I'm only at level 35 online. Obviously some of these guys eat sleep and breathe video games. They've prestiged (or whatever you call it on this game) and passed my level again already.

I'm thinking about selling my copy of MP3. I know gamestop will give me X amount and they will charge X amount. I'll sell it in the middle and we'll both be happy. If your interested in a copy of it for XBOX360 PM me.
