it could have been,so far the best i could find is a 2008 pdf file for the cbr1000rr.
as far as the rectifier goes,im sure the procedure is the same,along with the specs.
i found a 2004 pdf file,which i think 2004 to 2006 were the same.as soon as i down load and check it out.i will let you know if its the real deal.

Well i checked everything out, yanked the alarm out, and drove the hell out of it on our night ride came home put tge multimeter on battery it read 12.6 started it up it read 12.4 must have been the alarm!

Well i checked everything out, yanked the alarm out, and drove the hell out of it on our night ride came home put the multimeter on battery it read 12.6 started it up it read 12.4 must have been the alarm!

Shouldn't the meter read 12.xx just on bat and 13.xx plus some on start up,and higher on revs,what does the manual say.

your battery should sit at 13 or 12.8-9. If its sitting at 12.6 or less it needs to be charged. Go buy a charger and charge it using your BATTERY'S INSTRUCTIONS. If you dont have them check the website. Then return it the next day to autozone, unless you wanna keep it for future use.
