Sourcing Parts locally

Wondering if anyone knows where I can pick up some parts locally, possibly today?

It's a 2006 r6 ann. edition. I know the graphics are going to probably need to be ordered but I'd like to see if I can get the grommets/collars for the fairings and I'd rather not ride without them in place. I've called a few places locally in the bay area but no one has anything. Anyone know where I might be able to get these parts....today?

I doubt any local shops will have most of that in stock. I may have a few of the grommets from previous encarnations of the nanner but I would suggest contacting Manx and letting them order it all for ya.

Well... I live up in NPR so about 35 minutes north or racetrack... Its gonna take me a few hours to sift through all the boxes of extra parts I have to be able to tell you for sure if I have anything that would work for you.

If you end up this way during the weekend toss me a PM and if Im around Ill happily let ya go through what I have give ya anything you need for the small price of a beer.

Used to be for the really obscure parts I could only find there, at the Chop Shop, or on ebay...

I have since grown tired of being ignored, or talked down to because I'm only riding a "small 500" and he makes no money off of the stuff I buy...

I'd rather give my business to Manx, Dom @ chop shop, Fj, harley, Barneys, or almost any other local place. Hell, I'd even order from the flea bay.

Not worth my time to be talked to like a child because of what I like to do.

Unless your stretching your bike two feet, slamming it, slapping a NOX kit on it, doing wheelies down Lithia Pinecrest, or sporting an icon armour vest and nothing else, he really doesn't want to be bothered...

Ah, to actually answer your question...

Have noticed on several occasions, even though he "doesn't do it anymore", he likes to tell all this kids the good places to do 120mph sweepers, where its safe to do 3 mile standup's, and so on. The younguns look at him with stars in their eyes, as he tells them where to get hurt at, as he sells them new pieces of chrome. He buys his business with tales of glamor. He's being honest, but hes also putting these young adults at an even greater risk of hurting themselves. Guess the people my age and younger think its cool.

What is REALLY cool though, is getting a beater GS500, riding the piss out of it, and not giving a fuck what other people say is cool.

So, let's see what you've accomplished here. You obviously came into the thread spoiling for a fight. In fact, you could have PM'ed the info to the OP and avoided drama altogether. But you've now insulted without provocation mods/admins and you've made those of use who don't know you figure we don't ever want to, based on your behavior. You haven't changed anyone's mind about the establishment you endorsed - in fact, the manner you posted in just reinforces the anecdotal information regarding it and its clientele. Definitely done more harm than good.
