“I guess it's because we all want to believe that what we do is very important, that people hang on to our every word, that they care what we think. The truth is, you should consider yourself lucky if you even occasionally get to make someone - anyone - feel a little better. After that, it's all about the people that you've let into your life.”— J.D.
I hope they catch that Bitch! GWS and good luck with the police.
Has she been caught and beaten to death with something heavy yet?
Look on my face when wizard, goam and tough poonslayer posts...
crazy story man, glad your relatively ok. Like some have said most people dont stop, some put it in their mind the other guy will stop. I spun across I4 during rush hour traffic in the rain 6 years ago and hit a pickup, and he ended up across i4. We where lucky (no injuries, Insurance took care of it) but again no one stopped.

man shift, sorry to hear this. hate to see that 1000 like that, but better it missing pieces than you, unbelievable that people are like this. reminds me of the other day when this elderly spanish lady was stuck in the turn lane with a disabled vehicle and people are honking and flying by her and she looked terrified. the kid on the motorcycle (me) and someone who saw me try to help her from a gas station on the other side of the road were the only ones to push her car out of the way, help her figure out what was wrong with it. (loose battery ground caused no charging of the battery from the alternator, eventually resulting in dead battery and a car that wouldn't start, guessing it stalled at the light.) but more than 100 people must have passed her before i stopped. wtf is wrong with people??
not looking for any praise and sorry for the jack, but not everyone is like this. sadly it's too few people like the ones here on tsb that would stop to help and chase the offending car or get a tag #.
hope they find this b*&%h and give her every charge they can think of.

I was on my way to work this morning and as I approached 49th st S and Gulfport Blvd I see an Acura MDX at the gas station across the street. It was 730am, I went by and looked....no damage on the passenger side.....
this is most likely the (1) registered in Gulfport.....owner black male pumping gas, little girl in back seat no other occupant.
As I drive by a little closer I see that the door molding on the read door does not match the front door, neither does the paint. It has that fresh, un-buffed look to it. Kinda satin like. also there is a color difference in the jam around the rear compared to the front.
the only thing that has me questioning the car is I really dont remember it having nerf bars. This was does. I really did not get a good look at the car while laying beside, under it. I may have over-looked the nerf bars.
I took pics, printed them and had them in the hands of GP's finest by 830am. The officer was supposed to go look at the car for herself to see if it looked repaired. I can only hope that she has an ounce of attention to detail because thats about what its gonna take.
and yes thats 3.41 cash or credit
I know you can not read the tag number in the pic.
best I can tell.......no guarantees but it "looks" like 355 OHN
I gambled that the pic would come out
Ooooooh, man. I hope this ends up being the culprit. I want to hear a happy ending to this (happy for ME means you get run over the twat in his/her own car).
I have to admit, I would have hard a hard time not remarking on the recent repairs to the owner just to get a read.

I wanted to believe me. I held back for multiple reasons, first there was a little girl in a car seat in back. If something escalated he would have the defense side. I don't like green bologna or the eating schedule at the 49th street inn.
Damn E. I hope this pans out for you. I have been checking at TPA and have seen several but none with the described damge.
Let us know how this pans out for ya! I've got my fingers crossed!

Any word yet mang?
Bikes don't leak oil, they mark their territory
Was that gas .......or diesel?
no word. I did talk to the chief of the dept tonight, he knew nothing of the accident or invest. they have 29 officers, seems like keeping up with a small dept like that would be easy. I am sure there are a lot of other cases but seems like a hit/run involving a bike 2 blocks from the station would be memorable. he said he would look into it.
side note State Farm is taking good care of me so far. My check is waiting for me at the office. wont be able to get it til Thursday.
