The story behind this game is touching enough; Owain Weinert, a 9 year-old diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, wanted to "hang out with game designers". This wish was forwarded to the Make a Wish Foundation who got him together with PopCap games.

So here comes the 9 year old with a powerpoint presentation of his idea for a game. The end result is Allied Star Police and hell if I know it's a damn fun game.

It's a cross between tower defense games, Plants vs. Zombies but with better pacing and (so far) less frustration factor than PvZ.
