Found a good place in Tampa but can't remember. I like Hiros in St Pete. And it's half off most of the menu after 10. Tokyo Bay is good and does all you can eat.

    1. Matois - S Dale Mabry/275, Best Volcano in Town
    2. Origami - original Hillsborough/DMabry location better than Waters one - Meaty portions & Scorched Earth is awesome
    3. Sushi Alive - NDale Mabry / Sushi happy hour menu is cheap! gets super packed right b4 (during the wk)
    4. Itchiban - Temple Terrace

And Samurai Blue & Zen Sushi Westchase *thumbs up tho more pricey*

yokohama on kings and lumsden in brandon. Little hole in the wall but killer sushi.

  9. Tokyo Bay on Tierra Verde used to be AMAZING! They're less amazing now but still on of the best in the bay. AND for the lover of sushi rolls they do $20 all you can eat for dinner every day.

Hiro's in St. Pete is half off after 10pm. They're the best value imo and still one of the better ones.

The Queen and I in downtown St. Pete is one of the pricier ones but they have the freshest tuna I've tasted in the bay.

There's a few others... I like sushi wayy to much!

I agree, The Rack is awesome. If you're looking for something on the more inexpensive side, Ichiban's in Brandon is the best place for all you can eat, IMO. Better than the one off Fowler since if you ask me. Laura and I go there often and they have several kinds of sushi. Crazy Buffet on Dale Mabry was decent.

for The Rack, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned Soho on Kennedy. Great rolls there, too, as well as Water Sushi.

Sushi Rock in st pete is a new fav, in addition to all of the Tampa spots mentioned above. The Rack and Soho Sushi are Hyde park sushi staples.

I don't know about Tampa but in St. pete there is a place called Hooks and I hear really good things about them

Soho on Kennedy is the best in town. The Rack is alright, but I always prefer Soho. Granted, it is a lil more pricey than the Rack, but I think it's money well spent.

I know you said tampa but if any of you find yourselves in Spring Hill via a north run or whatever, there is a new place called Wasabi Grill next to the beef o bradys on 50 and mariner. Ive eaten sushi all over the world and I have to say im pretty impressed to find a place like this in spring hill. Everything from Nori to sashimi is all good and they do in house non sushi stuff as well. They also have good early bird deals, so if your up this way check it out.

Samari sushi- its located in the plaza where mulligans is on Big Bend. Its in the summerfield neighborhood. These guys catered at my work a few times and I havent gone anywhere else ever since. I was going to post a thread about it. Their prices are super low for the quality
