Because I exited my vehicle to check the tag as with ambient light it was not clearly visible and could hear the soft ticking noise cars make after you turn them off. Are you done yet Griff? This line of questioning is ridiculous.

Truthfully the fault here lies with the cop and the lady. Unfortunately in this situation the cop was trying to be nice to the lady by not giving her a ticket and making things a little easier on her. This time his judgement was off and he let the wrong person off the hook and the insurance company is using it to their advantage.

There does need to be a little more pressure from the attorneys toward the insurance company, but what exactly are the personal damages you are expecting to receive anyway? They only get a fixed percentage and I doubt you are suing for $100,000 in personal injury damages. IIRC, you didn't lose a body part. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but attorneys charge a lot of money per hour. Hundreds of dollars per hour. So if your case doesn't have a big settlement amount the chance of them chasing everyone down is pretty slim.

I lost a gall bladder because of a guy that pulled out in front of me, the ONLY reason the case went as smoothly as it did is because the other guy admitted under oath and on the record that he "impeded my right of way, [he] takes that for granted." Even after stating this the judge found him not guilty of impeding my right of way and his insurance wanted to make me partially responsible so they could pay out less. My attorney sent them the transcript and they caved immediately. Most stories I've heard about dealing with car accidents take YEARS to resolve. Don't expect yourself to be any different.

Well I hope it all works out for you. I suggest you just don't post anything that can remotely pose a bad light on a paid sponsor cause they are so great they contributed money to a website.

I had a problem with a paid sponsor and had others questioning me and stated I don't contribute enough to this site so either shut up cause right or wrong our sponsors right or get off this site.

Nice when they contribute and only good posts go up! If I was a mod I would ask they pay more cause they are so perfect.

Can I make a suggestion?
I wish sponsors who aren't perfect stop acting like they are and try to stop blaming the poster as not being happy. Or we can't make everyone happy. We all are somewhat intelligent and know how business works. But when your unhappy about a purchase or service rendered sometimes not just in this forum, word of mouth, other Internet sites, reviews. You tell the people your pros and cons about such product or service.
It just seems whether a sponsor was right or wrong on services rendered or purchased from you can't post anything negative or less than candid about them.
But hey you can bash other things like..... Barneys, cops, cagers and the list goes on..

Just my suggestion of course.

All sponsors should be aware of a disclaimer stating that members have the right to express their opinion on their experience with said sponsors.

I do know better than to sneak around peoples' windows & doors.

However, vehicle was in her name per the police report and still had the same tag on it registered to her name... and still appeared to be used on a frequent basis.

Why I asked that is I'm so confused. my vehicle is registered and sits for months in front of my house while I'm in the mountains during the summers.

a kind neighbor drives it once in a while to keep it running, and sure it ticks after being parked.

thats why i asked "was she there"?????????? and after pages i still don't see whether she was actually there or not? I'll go sit back on the lost couch

Well seeing as how you are the GREAT defender of the people of the world, let me ask you this, how familiar are you with the situation? What do you know about what has been done? Especially by the lawyer/sponsor?

Maybe the poster hasn't been in the situation before and didn't know it would take a long time. Cause I'm sure said sponsor didn't say hey thanks for your business, and bye the way we will take a long time to get this resolved. Maybe they did or maybe they didn't. Where you there?
It's frustrating when you go for help or resolution to only feel that your not being taken seriously. The poster Probably thought that being sponsor to this site they would work harder for them. My guess only. Poster is upset the person who caused such action has disappeared, so they say. Atty. Have a P.I. For this reason. Poster feels they aren't doing there job, decides to drive bye such address to determine if they are there. Car is there, appears to have been driven buy unknown person. Poster states cars tag matches one in description of said accident. Car is still warm from being driven but didn't check to see if said occupant was home. Didn't want to go peaking in windows. You either get arrested or shot for that stuff around here!! Poster was only given update of said situation without being ridiculed buy other members on the forum. Poster was simply giving one side of story so since you are on the side of said sponsor what is their reasoning, are they working hard for her or just going to get to her when they get to her?

And for the record, i had spoken to people at the attorneys office. As for specifics about the case, i dont know anything nor do i care to. But I believe i was the one who got the sponsor to call the POSTER as you say, even when they didnt have to call. So i think i know a little more about this situation then you do.

And if you don't care why are you giving the poster a hard time? Why cause your a mod and you feel you have the right.

If you got the sponsor to call poster then the sponsor wasn't doing their job to begin with! Maybe that's why poster is already mad.
If every interaction with a sponsor has to go through a mod than it's ridiculous. Or have a mod make a call or pm them.
