In the world of sports there are many great athletes, and yet so many of them are selfish idiots, and then, on the other end of the spectrum, there's Warrick Dunn.
3 more homes for single moms!
What does that bring the number to, a gazillion?
Regardless, this guy is tops in my eyes.
Here's the story from Bay News 9

Warrick Dunn Foundation President Chris Knopik and former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Warrick Dunn talk to Christina Clare before showing her and her family their new home. TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Warrick Dunn helped three more single moms and their families get back on their feet with the gift of a home.
Thanks to Dunn and his foundation, single mom Christina Clare and her two daughters have a fully furnished home of their own.
"We would have had nothing at all. Stove and refrigerator but nothing else," Clare said.
Mary Salazaar also got a home Tuesday, leaving her four daughters and son speechless.
"It was my mom's dream of home ownership," Dunn said. "She didn't have the opportunity to own her own home, so I'm pretty much living out the dream for single parents."
Since the foundation started in 1997, Dunn has helped 97 single parents and their 240 dependents by providing the down payments for the homes.
His single mom, a police officer, was killed in the line of duty, leaving him to help raise his five siblings.
The homes aren't free. In fact, the families who get the Habitat for Humanity homes are all employed. They still have to make house payments.
Maybe that's why the program is so successful.
"We don't give a hand out, we give a hand up," said Dunn Foundation President Chris Knopik. "We are very proud of the fact that in more than 90 homes and we've only had one home come back to us."
