    Hybrids '05 HyboOsa build

    Ok guys n gals,

I traded my 929 streetfighter for a bobbed 05 busa. Here she is:

here is a shitty photochop of some possible plans.

Drilled the bolts out for the ignition on the top clamp and removed the ignition. then I cut the loop off the top of the ignition, made a bracket, and mounted the aftermarket acewell guage there.

Then i moved the ignition down beside the sprocket cover. The coolant bottle will be the next thing I do, I will replace it with an aluminum bottle of some kind.

Here is the 636 tail that I am planning to get Randy @ RS Custom Works to help me get fabbed to the bike soon.

Did a little chopping on the subby so I could mock it up.

But it will go a little different way. only big change will be the headlight and the exhaust. I found the headlight on ebay and the Boz Bros pipe at Roaring Toyz:

a little cleaning up, and it should be a nice pipe, but now I have to get me a power commander, shit, there goes more money!!

Thats it for now, I will update it after I get the subby fabbed up.

    Questions, comments? feel free!!

Looked pretty cool without the tail section.

    Hybrid,

I like your project! I've wanted to build a streetfighter for awhile now. Good luck with it. Also, Power Commanders are shit. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up with an ECU reflashing set-up for next to nothing. I'm thinking if you get me a beer or something at the next meet and eat I'll come over and show you how to re-flash your ECU.

Lastly, here's my favorite streetfighter. Take a look at it. You may get some good ideas for yours.

I"m not too nuts about it with that tail on it. IMO the zx tail with an undertail pipe would REALLY improve the looks of it. I dig the headlight you got, is that off a B king?

If it is the same light, you really need to get the PIAA H6M bulbs for it, it is really close to HID light.

dude...I was painting the plastic bezel and the headlight dropped and cracked...lucky for me the guy who bought the bike got over it. I wasn't paying another $240-260 for another light.
