National Slow Down Week

I wish someone would make a National Do Not Speed or National Slow Down week, that way cops wont be able to give out ANY speeding tickets or at fault accident tickets for that matter and the county will say WTF no more money coming in!, no more get to the courthouse at 8am to be heard for 45 sec and leave almost 4 hrs later, no more traffic school money, im sure speeding tickets have to be and this is just a wild guess about 50-60% of the countys revenue...

just me ranting...

I never get tickets in my truck. Never. I DO get a LOT of attention on the Triumph (brand name plug goes here - Triumphs rock, thanks for reading. "Brought to you by Carl's Junior") some of which I am sure I deserve. There is a lady motorcyclist in Tampa who's got to be 60 if she's a day and she told me something that I believe and hold firmly to. She said "Motorcycles don't behave in any of the ways cars do, we don't take up as much space, we don't handle the road the same, we don't respond the same - I don't think we should have to obey the laws the same either"

God bless her, whereever she is, right now passing on a double yellow before a turn.

ROFL, sounds like your a cop or an unhappy county employee, and just 1 person doing it wont make a difference, thats why the title says national., and by the way im not ranting, i havent gotten a ticket in at least 3 yrs, just posting thoughts and opinions, after all thats what forums are for

To be honest the only persons making any money on speeding tickets lately are the ticket lawyers. Almost everyone I know that gets a ticket anymore pays their $100-$150 to the lawyer and the ticket gets thrown out with no fees or points.....you would think the cops would catch on at some point. Esp. since the lawyer cost less than half of what your ticket cost.

I could care less about anyone else that gets a ticket (cuz I dont have to pay it) so it will make a difference...to me. Everyone slow down if you dont want a ticket. I do 85 on i-4 in my work truck everyday and if I get a ticket I have no one to blame but myself.
