    If you ride or live in Lakeland...

    Just a heads up for those of you who ride in Lakeland, FL.

    It was announced at FAITH Riders that Lakeland PD will be focusing on motorcycle safety and enforcement from 21JUL to 25JUL.

    This means that Lakeland LE will be checking riders with no helmets to ensure proper insurance, and they will be looking for motorcycles during traffic enforcement activities (radar and laser traps, etc.). Basically, if you're on 2 wheels - you are a target of opportunity.

    The announcement has plenty of merit since one of the higher ups in FAITH Riders is retired Lakeland PD.
