Anyone bought one of these yet? Have you seen them on the shelves at the local retailers? Where?

I guess walmart sells everything now. Think they'll have a 600.00 lid though?

Never liked BELL to much, but these look nice.
    I'll wait for the review.

I'll have to try one on. I read some reviews which are pretty good. It would have to fit my noggin real good for me to get one insted of another Arai though.

anyone who calls bell a pos has no clue on helmets. They make a very good product for cheap.I bet you the safety rating is just as good as any arai.

I am not a fan of bell only over styling, but those new models are very nice looking.

Here is the deal on Bell.

Bell used to be the best helmet you could buy. They were sold to the beiffe company a while back and they have turned them into crapy ass walmart helmets. Recently, Bell was baught back by the original Bell company. They have started to revamp the line and doing A LOT of research and development. The new line of helmets are great according to all the reviews. Even a few AMA racers are wearing them now. I am sure that walmart will not be selling the new line of helmets and once they are out of stock on the old ones, I doubt you will be able to buy any Bell helmet there. I hope that bell gets back to it's original glory. The new Viper Star will probably be my next lid.

bell was the bomb back in my B.M.X. days...if you had one u were doing it right. Nothing wrong with a walmart entry level and a high end model for cycle shop retail. Catch cash from all directions...that's good product development and marketing.

PB, see post number 16. They are not walmart helmets anymore. If you buy a walmart Bell, you are buying a beiffe POS.
