Slowly, but surely it's begining to start to look like a bike again!

You realize as soon as you're done with it you need to encase it in a glass box and put it in your living room, right?

The last few things needed to be bolted on are:

Chain + Sprocket cover
Lace up the wiring
Exhaust pipe
Oil Cooler is giving me a hell of a time.. Gonna have to mod it a bit
Carbs + Sync
Plastics

I think that's about it. Then I'll need all the luck in the world to get this thing started :P Hoping the carbs are all yucked up from the gas that evaporated out of them. Since I don't have the gaskets and o-rings to rebuild the carbs just yet..

Main goal is to be up and running for Bikeweek.

Ah, good work- I wish I had the time/skill to do this with my ol' F2,

She'd look good all polished up like that-

But I agree with Scott- I'd have to buy another bike as a DD so's I don't muck it all up afterward, and I just don't have the cashflow to swing it yet

Twin? You mean the 300 other 00-05 GSXR's you see that are all White/Blue? LOL That's probably the one thing I like about my bike, it's old, but it's different and doesn't look like all the others. I get a lot of 'thumbs-up' and older guys coming up to me telling me how they used to race my bike and other guys tell me how it was their first bike they owned. That's when they start getting all nostalgic.

Hopefully tonight the oil cooler will begin to cooperate and I can possibly try to start this puppy!! Man, I got butterflies just thinking about it.
