I believe the ICE thing is a VERY useful contact piece in the case of oneself being injured, incapable of contacting someone or whatever.

I put my contact info on file with the state.
I need to get a dogtag or something that provides identification and info pertaining to my bike.
I'm Nico now. Still slowly moving up.

Boredom leads to bad things.... don't ask how I know.

the state site only takes info for your 2 ICE choices. fhp or other agencies can then pull your license and be able contact your ICE person. i never got anything in the mail when i registered.

I wonder if the states computers rsync enough to be able to cross reference a tax plate to a drivers license number ?

Given the possibility your MC license isn't right there handy, ya know ?

I carry ICE in the jacket, wallet, helmet. I figure the bike will just lay over there somewhere and smolder until a tow truck comes by.

I recommend everyone doing this. Last year I was in a serious car accident and was traumatized right afterwards. My phone was smashed so I had no phone numbers. Some guy offered me his cell phone. I had to sit for minute and think about who to call. It took me 3 times to get my mom's cell phone number right and I know that by heart.

So check it out and it only take a couple of minutes.

    Emergency Contacts "ICE"

Im posting this because of the events that happened to day and it just put another reminder in my mind. Please put in your phone an ICE #, also a card in your wallet . When you go down your mind is not working straight and all these things are not clear to you. So please do this before you go out on your next ride.
