Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition thats troublesome

    FL Driver's License Emergency Contact

Was shown this page which allows you to add up to two emergency contacts that will be tied to your DL. Might be helpful, along with a cell phone ICE entry.

ICE: In Case of Emergency phone #'s

    Greetings!

This is something I picked up from other riders. If you have a cell phone make a few entries in your contact/address book under "ICE". For example, I have an "ICE Mom <name>" and an "ICE Dad <name>" an "ICE Friend <name>" etc etc, programed into my cell. That way people on the scene will know who you want contacted In Case of Emergency.

lol... rick would be ghey like that, huh?

cell phones can get damaged in wreck, that's why I carry the written info.
From the other thread... (mods, can we merge them and change the title to the ICE?)

I've got a homemade ICE (in case of emergency) card that I carry in my left back jeans pocket, inside jacket pocket and on the bike. I still need to get it laminated, but I reprint as needed.

It reads as follows: (all is good info to also verify the rider's mental state!)

    Name:
    Address:
    Cell #:
    Allergies:
    morphine Blood Type: O+
    Normal B/P: 120/70 Normal Temp: 97.3 Normal Pulse: 85
    Current Meds: n/a
I am an organ donor; my family does know my wishes.
My living will is on file with my family, St. Joseph's & UCH.

It's been awhile since this subject has gone up...I'm going to let this thread ride.

It would just get lost in the old one.

The I.C.E. thing is something I need to do.....But I'm stupid and keep forgetting.
