    Free Pit

My brother has 2 pits. They are brothers and will be 2 years in Jan. He is going to keep Cowboy but needs to find a good home for Chicago. He doesn't want to seperate them but needs to because they are both territorial and have started to fight. He has to keep one in the crate while the other is out and keep giving each one their own turn. He feels bad crating them up so he would rather find a good home for Chicago. He is house broken and very protective of his home. Its best he goes to a home without kids, cats or other dogs. He won't even consider it if he knows you have any of the stated. You must also have a fenced yard. My daughter has been around them since they were puppies but he is like 100lbs of pure muscle and knocks her around like a rag doll but he is just playing. I would take him but I have 3 cats that I don't want turned into Scooby snacks LOL He should probably go to a guy since he would end up dragging a chick if she tried to walk him. He walks him with a chain and padlock he is so strong and breaks all the other collars/leashes they have tried. I will post pix as soon as he emails them to me.

I wish I could, but he'd probably try to kill my favorite dog ever.
    Moving up. Slowly.

i would take him but i already have a pit at my moms and she also has a cat and no fence. its too bad he doesnt get along with other dogs. my pit would love to have a new play mate. was he not socialized when he was a puppy ? because thats usually the case when dogs become that way. when my pit was a puppy i allways had my friends over and i took her to doggy parks, and now shes all grown up and she loves everyone and wouldnt hurt a fly.

They start out playing but it turns into fighting. Its probably not a good idea to put him with another dog. Maybe a female but I would take her over for a visit before commiting to him. He really is a beautiful dog, HUGE head he just needs a good home to someone that has been around pits before. He is not a cuddly lap dog. He loves to wrestle and play tug of war. Goes through many toys a week.

He has been around his brother since they were born. My brothers GF said they have been around other dogs. He doesn't just run up to another dog and start attacking. Its starts out as playing and he wants to be more dominant so its turns into fighting. They have never hurt each other, he has his vaccines. He is a good boy just needs to be the only dog in his domain.

He is an indoor dog. He has chew toys but if he doesn't have access to them I'm sure he might start chewing some shoes. He loves licking feet. He isn't a bad dog, he has not been raised like that.
