I first started racing in the early seventies but had to give it up because it conflicted with paying the bills.... Rode the 490 Maico in selected EVO events this season.

What class do you ride in? We probably know each other by face but not by name. I don't take the Vrod to the races.
I did the last 2 races of last season, Senior C. I won the dirty foot one. I am unsure if I will do Senior C until bumped next season or if I will go to Senior B from the start.

Senior C, talk about sand bagging bag O Ramasaurus. I'd be pissed if you weren't winning.

That was last year. I had ridden my dirtbike 4 times in the previous 2 years.... I was in the appropriate class. In fact, my 1st Sensior C race, I think I finished 12th....

I loved those days, but to many injuries forced me to retire ...

Well I can still offer knowledge if anyone is interested in that ..
Most arent interested in going into full blown racing, but I can help you get comfortable & fast on the bike, if thats what your looking for ..

The 2015 FTR hare scramble event at Mondon Hill sponsored by the Suncoast Trail Blazers is coming up pretty quickly. First weekend in January. I'll be there working the event as usual. If anyone wants more info, let me know.

My 11yr old daughter is just now getting in to dirt. We bought the bike last year but since I only ride street her getting out to ride has been a bit slow. We are going to take her to a dirt track near east bay on hwy 41 on Tuesday night to let her check out the scene. Starting to search CL now for youth mx riding gear just in case she decides to ride dirt. She has been using her street helmet and jacket while riding around the cul de sac and dirt lot so she is comfortable on the bike with gear but she hasnt been out with other riders.
