I am now a proud member of driveway club. Was coming back from work this afternoon all tired and forgot to kick out the stand completely. Had my laptop on me and wasn't able to pick the bike up so ended up laying it down.

Nothing happend to the bike except for left-front peg breaking. Frame sliders did their job.

JC, Sharon and I now have something in common but I plan to ride the bike until I get a replacement :)

Damm sorry Asim, that sucks..... Glad the sliders did their job, but sucks that it happened... Sorry bro...
Hey try looking on the ZX-10R.net forum for new stock pegs. Guys there are always getting aftermarket rearsets, so you can probably get a good deal.

Or even better, now it is a good reason to get some new rearsets.....:D

Do I understand this right? It was between the laptop or the bike? That laptop would have been gone. But anyway sorry to hear about that Asim.

thanks guys - luckily I was standing still, I just couldn't pick the bike back up so I slowly laid it on the ground and peg just broke due to the weight of the bike.

Time to build some muscle so I can pick it up next time!!

I am in that club too.
All I did was try to get on the bike. Well It was running and I didn't have my hand on the brake, so right when I got on....... the bike took off and I tipped the bike right over. I still have the scar on my knee. :cryingeye

Oh yea, I am on my second clutch lever. :bash
