Well winter is just around the bend so I will be looking to purchase a riding mask soon. I wasn't sure if I wanted a full face mask or just one around my mouth and nose. Anyone know of a good place to get one? Any web sites I can take a look at?

I did a search on this and I didn't see anything about masks so I hope I am getting better at the search button :)

Check with PA.

I have had two, but the second one is the type that covers your head completely. Makes the helmet tighter, but it keeps you really warm. The 1st one was one of those wet suit material that covers your nose and mouth. It sucked!

Alpinestar $39.95?!?!?!?! Wow, that is a lot.
I got mine for $15. Ask around though.
The bike isn't my only form of transportation.
I like mine, I will dig it out later and get you the name of it.

I have the one that covers your whole head w/ a cutout for you eyes only. Bought it for $10 at Daytona Bike Week. Probably the cheapest thing I've ever bought bike related and it works awesome :)

You have to search for the right word . its Balaclava http://www.tampasportbikes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14515

i had the one in the post, but i lost it :(. but it was GREAT!!!!! i loved it. it was about 20$ at cyclegear. but well worth it. it was not very thick at all so it did not feel uncomfortable under my helmet. and the frank thomass one is big at the bottom so you cand zip your jacket over it and it keeps your nek warm too.

I personally think that balaclava is much better! I have one for around my mouth and nose and it really doesn't help much at all. It'll keep you somewhat warm but the balaclava has more all-around warmth :)

A balaclava is worth every penny spent if you ride in colder weather. I'd never owned on until a couple of years ago. Wow! What a difference! Mine is very thin and covers my whole head with an oval opening for the eyes.

Here's a few for ya. Just don't think they'd work well with a helmet.
