Anyone out there know of any place around here that you can physically walk into and buy a leather suit? I'm not sure I want to play the catalog or internet order game not knowing exactly what size I am. I'd like to try something on in house if possible. Thanks in advance.

Off the rack? Or custom?

Cycle Gear usually has some leathersuits to try on for off the rack. For custom, try Syed Leathers in Orlando.

What ever you decide spend the money if your going to keep it. I never half step on gear its usually Dainese suits for me$$. Hewhois is correct they have some suits at Cycle gear.
Also remember one brand may not fit like another even if its the same size. So pick the brand then if you need to order it should fit.

cycle gear will work with you on getting the right size for ya, i went thru four full sets and three 2pc sets before i found ones that would fit.they never had a problem with reordering and send back the ones that dont fit, only drawback was it took like two weeks total before i got the right sizes

Cool. Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll try Cycle Gear and if that doesn't work out I'll try Syed in Orlando. I haven't been to the track yet and I'm dying to get there. Can't go without the leathers though, right? Chris - I want them for the track primarily, but since I always wear full gear on the street (Icon titanium mesh) I'll probably give them a try on the street as well - provided the weather's cool enough. I don't care if they're custom or not - as long as they'll afford max protection (you're right Moke) and they're fairly comfortable - in that order. Oh yeah, as long as they're not $2,000 (Dainese? :-) ) either. Thanks again!

they're not $2,000 (Dainese? :-)

i got a closeout Dainese suit for no where even close to 2000, and an alpinestars one-piece for 600. Check them out, ask about closeouts (even if they aren't in that store they can get them for you)

PA is Pure Acceleration where I got my AGV suit. They are a site sponser and located in Brandon. I found the size I need by trying on suits he has in stock. Then I went with the next suit size larger cause the size he had was a bit too tight in some spots. The suit I have no fits great.

You could always give this place (http://www.costumesofnashua.com/CNWebSite105/Active905/Pages/CostumeRental/Pimp/Pics%20Pimp/PimpsCH1405.jpg) a try. :D

This guy (http://www.geocities.com/wa2ise/ls.html) might know where also.
