There's a place on 301 down in Sarasota called, fittingly enough, "The High Side Cafe". I haven't been there in quite a while, but it used to be pretty cool. They had all kinds of old bike race stuff on the walls and such, with Speed channel on the TVs.
It's physically attached to Precision Cycle, and has interesting names for things such as the "road rash", which is a roast beef sandwich.
In anycase, check it out sometime if you're down there....

Yup... that's it... directly across the street from American Legends...
I used to go there pretty often when I had a friend that was working there. He left the state for a while and is now going to MMI in Orlando. I can't wait for him to get into a shop again so I have somebody's tools to borrow when my bike takes a dump.

Seth was the mechanic who worked on my Duc at A.L.
Lots of cool bike shops in that area. We use to ride down and visit all the bike shops, then take the skyway home and stop off at Ringside in St. Pete. :occasion1
Here are some pics from our last ride.

F.Y.I. The place with the bikes on display is not High Side cafe. That is a restaurant attached to American Legend cycles. I wonder if they are still open?

The place attached to it is now called Khrome, I am not sure if it is a restaurant, bar, or club.
