Cheesecake Factory To Open Restaurant In Brandon

The Cheesecake Factory, a California-based casual restaurant chain, plans to open a restaurant at the Westfield Brandon mall in April or May, Stefanie Phillips, a spokeswoman for the mall said.
The Brandon location will be the chain’s second restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. The company has a restaurant open at International Plaza mall in Tampa. The nationwide chain also has 12 other sites open in Florida.
In addition to the Cheesecake Factory, the mall, which is spending an estimated $60 million on store expansions and renovations, announced Wednesday that 11 other new tenants have recently signed on for space.
Phillips said all of the new stores plan to open this year. All told the mall expects to add 25 new stores and four new sit-down restaurants under its expansion plans.
The other new tenants announced Wednesday include:
Teavana, a seller of specialty teas.
Sephora, a cosmetics and skin care retailer.
Swarovski, a crystal gifts and jewelry retailer
Fossil, a watch retailer.
Solstice Sunglass Boutique, a fashion sunglass store
Esmer Fashion Jewelry & Accessories, a Turkish jewelry retailer.
Quiksilver, a retailer of surf-style clothing.
Cache, a women’s sportswear retailer.
Swim ‘N Sport, a designer swimwear retailer.
The Walking Company, a comfort footwear retailer.
Clark’s, a seller of comfort footwear.
