So, what are people's favorite roads and/or routes in the Tampa area?

Since I live in Wesley Chapel/New Tampa, I usually run up around the SR 54 / SR 52 area. The back of my neighborhood has a nice 6 mile semi-curvey road that leads out to 54. I'll also ride Morris Bridge Rd, Curley Rd, etc.

Also, I recently discovered Ehren Cutoff Rd (583) which is pretty nice.

Anyways... I'm looking for some new roads and was interested in seeing what other people's favorite routes were.

Thanks

Nice roads north of SR52 (Bellamy Brothers, Bayhead Rd, hayman Rd), Then past SR50, there some more nice roads - ride safe

I went on a north run with Rookie and really liked it. The only roads by me in Town & Country are Paterson, North and South Mobley and a couple of others.

In Odessa, try Crawley Road, Patterson, Racetrack.

Off of 52, there are a bizillion roads (Ehren Cutoff is a fav). Pasco Road, Curley, Jessamine, James, Trilby, Lake Iola, Clay Hill, Bellamy Bros, St. Joe.

In Hernando County, there's Powell, Culbreath, Hayman, Griffin, Cedar Lane, Mondon Hill, Weatherly, Istachatta.

Check the posts under Rides/Meetings/Events where we post up if we're going on a ride. We usually hit one or more of these roads.

I've been exploring south roads (since the north run gets boring to a person originally from Brooksville). Haven't found anything that compares, YET! I road all through Lithia, Keysville, Turkey Creek, Welcome and Picnic yesterday afternoon. Roads were poor and some had too much traffic to get on the throttle. I'm going to head into north Manatee County and west Polk County over the next couple weeks. I'll keep you posted on what I find.
