I got a power commander for my GSXR-1000, was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to get it installed and programed? I can install it myself, but don't have a laptop to do the programming. I'm looking for suggestions.

Great buy--I haven't heard ANY complaints about this lil' bit of tuning for the guys that have put it on their S bikes... anyway, I've got a laptop if you don't want to drive your Gixxer through the front window of a Kinko's.
Looks like you can go to the Power Commander website (http://powercommander.com/) for software & maps.

:+1 to what Moke said on Chad.
I was there this past weekend to have him do the suspension on my bike and spoke to him a bit about it because I need to replace the PCII in my RC with the PCIII USB.
Very good prices.
I'll PM you.

Just a heads up custom maps are not cheap...I would say around 150-200 bones am I right Moke?
He is right custom is the way to go if you want the maximum performance out of your PC...But..BUT make sure you have all your aftermarket goodies on there (slipon, full exhaust, air filter, big bore kit etc etc) that deals with performance on before getting a custom map. If you do it after, guess what, gotta get your custom map customized

YES NOT CHEAP BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY, WHEN GUYS ON THE SAME YR MODEL CANT CATCH YA! ALSO MAKE SURE YOU DO A STOCK RUN WITH NOTHING INSTALLED FIRST THEN HAVE HIM RUN IT AFTER INSTALLING EACH PART. I.E EXHAUST RUN IT, PC RUN IT AGAIN, AIR FILTER RUN IT AGAIN. THAT WAY YOU KNOW WHAT EACH PART GAVE YOU AS FAR AS HP!

Yep......:+1
Custom map IS the way to go!
Not only for HP but also smooth acceleration. The custom map done by a trained mechanic will allow you to maximize your machine. It's well worth $150. Chad does an excellent job. Go for it bro.
Great point Jgennaro!
The biggest gain youll ever get out of installing an exhaust and a pc or(jet kit if carbs) is off idle throttle response. Which means in a drag race style start, its going to pull harder than poppy all the way to the celien. If done properly.the launch that is!
That is why I preach alot about NOT going with just a slipon and no pc. Your short changing yourself if you dont install a pc and do it right. Have it done on a dyno, pay a professional to do it right! One time! All or nothing!?
