Just like the title says, getting rid of my race skins that came on the bike. The pics below should give you an idea of their appearance, I'll try to describe in detail as best I can the condition of each piece. Will supply detailed photos on request. I'm gonna do my best to describe EVERYTHING here as best as possible...just wanna keep everyone happy, and avoid sending out multiple PMs with the same info.

I got these on the bike when I purchased it back in May. They are unmarked with a brand-name...so I'm assuming they're one of the "ebay specials". They were never crashed on, but there are some areas of minor damage just from constantly pulling the plastics off and putting them back on.

There is a small ~3/4 inch crack in the tail...it is between where the rear seat meets up with the subframe and is barely visible when everything is mounted up. In addition, at the front of the tail, one of the holes that attaches the tail to the subframe has cracked...so it takes a washer and bolt to hold that in place; though I havent had any issues with that.

The tank cover, which is probably clear from the pics, is the worse of the pieces. The previous owner cut off the ram air covers; I'm guessing that they didnt line up properly and that was the easiest solution. At the front of the tank where the 2 bolts go into the frame, the fiberglass cracked on that molded bracket; using some scrap aluminum or just a large enough washer holds it in place just fine.

Other than that, the only other damage is a couple holes between the lower and upper fairing that had to be re-drilled due to fitment issues. Not really "damage" but there are a few unused holes. There's also a scrape mark on the left side...didnt wreck the bike, it's from dragging my plastics through the turns...oops.

So basically...all in all its not the prettiest set of fairings, but if you're wanting to get on the track a couple times and not worry about destroying your street plastics, then this is definately a reasonable set.

Included is the upper/mid, lower, tail, and front fender.

Asking $150

What's the story on the ram-air duct? Is the duct cut or the cover?

the ram air covers are usually attached to the tank on the 600rr...

well on my bike the previous owner cut the covers off. No duct covers, but it doesnt keep anything from working properly.

Paypal is fine.

Here's the deal with fitment on the 05 models:

The front upper mounts up, but the ram air tubes don't fit inside the fairings properly. Not sure EXACTLY what the issue is, but I know it doesnt work. Pretty sure it's because the openings at the front of the 03 are a different size/shape than on the 05.

The tail will mount up, but visually it wont line up exactly right. the 05 subframe is shaped a bit different than the 03. as a point of reference, I actually had this race tail mounted to my bike...which has an 05 subframe. It mounted up, but just didnt line up perfectly.

so...if you just want a set that you can slap on to hit the track, and not really worry about how the tail looks...and are willing to either: (1) pick up a set of 03 ram air tubes or (2) just dont use ram air tubes...then yeah, they'll mount up just fine. Otherwise...the answer is no.

I have 2 extra sets of 03/04 ram air tubes if u need to try it with them.
Yes the tail will fit, you need to secure it with an extra set of long screws.
The nose will fit because u take off the headlight etc, so there is no need to worry about anything except the mirror mounts on the fairing stay-which mount fine.
Suggest- get a fairing stay and used guages and make a bolt on race setup-I did this and it is only 2 screws and 2 molex type plugs-DONE
