Finally back after 3 weeks of laying around the house, had to have emergency surgery and have my appendix ripped out. Gave me plenty of time to get the bike back together, still have electrical gremlins tho, I NEED HELP, i have exhausted all options known to me, also anyone know of a good aluminum welder? I need someone really good, have a cracked frame at the steering neck and i am really tired of riding on two wheels. hopefully i can meet some of you guys one night when its done, sunny side up everyone

I think when you've got cracks in the frame, you're better off just finding another frame that ISNT cracked. I think that once you see one crack, you're asking for trouble trying to simply weld it back together. how'd it get cracked to begin with?

it was like that when i bought it, it can be salvaged, i might have to add some gussets though. I guess who had it before me didnt know what they were doing and slammed the front end down alot till the point of it cracking. Its a 98 Superhawk 996, i think i will play hell trying to find a frame for that monster

oh, in that case, I understand your point.
