Okay... first off, Joe is a really REALLY nice guy. We were running late and Joe was able to keep Tom from starting the class until we got there.

Joe took care of getting us pizza and also fronted the cheese for us till he could run the CC tomorrow. The CCW class guy only takes cash.

Tom, the CCW guy was also a super nice guy and he rides a Triumph sportbike, I cant remember the model right now. He also had a freaking ridiculously sweet Smith and Wesson titanium revolver that I think we all want after holding it. Tom answered all my stupid questions with no problems and he had no qualms about giving you his take on the laws and how he is a dis-liker of Glocks. (silly man, I love my Glock)

Class was about 2.5 hours and we shot a .22 that was his to prove we could handle a weapon.

Zero complaints about anything about this experience. I would recommend Joe for training and Tom for CCW class to anyone.

Thanks again guys!!!

PS, Joe from the sounds of it, Mo is gonna get with you about the advanced rider class... hope you can keep up with her. lol

PPS, what bumper sticker won brother? I want a "look twice for cagers" sticker.

Nice! Congrats everyone. Now begins the arduous process of actually applying for your permit...

It was a pleasure to meet you, and I appreciate your kind words though it could ruin my reputation. :)

Would love to learn a thing or two from Mo. We will have a coaches meeting saturday and vote on stickers, I got a few entries that are really decent. Hope to go to production next week. I like the theme for cagers but need something a little more flashy in background or even make it like the oval look for motorcycles but replace wording.

For right now, we are HURTING for another location. Talked to almost 20 places in Tampa, no one wants to rent for motorcycle training, not even a biker! So sad...I'm just trying to save lives that's all. Why will no one help? <sigh>

By the way I accidentally charged the card for a hotel in Bermuda, a new GSXR, some boots, a few dinners, and a massage. ;)

Again it was a pleasure to meet you guys. Please stop by anytime.

:+1 on a great experience! I will definitely be recommending riders your way, Joe. Thank you again for having us. Tom was a great instructor; very honest, straight forward and engaging which made it a rather enjoyable experience.

Wanted to be there, but was doing paperwork for my new bike. Sounded like it was fun and learning experience... Damn busy schedule...

I have no idea... I love mine. I guess he has seen some jams in his 16 years of experiance with them. Mine has only jammed once and it was because I was firing an aluminum shell through it. I expected it to jam. I see his point about it not being a great carry weapon as revolvers are much better for the reasojn that a revolver will automatically scroll to the next round if the first one does not fire. A glock

50 bones, well worth it.

Mine has only jammed once

a weapon only needs to fail ONCE

Well. I knew it wasn't gonna like the round I fired. It was snake shot and the range asked me to not leave that casing around after I fired it. The round fired but it didn't eject the casing.

Aluminum swells more then brass. I figure you already knew that but for the cats that were about to ask.

I shot Blazer aluminum through my G26 without any problems, other than being dirty. Dirty, dirty aluminum casings.
