So up at the Hess today I was BSing with everyone and I think its time for a new ride to acompany the 954. I have narrowed it down to 3, they all are in a similar price range. This is just gonna be a new toy with no specific purpose like track only or comuter. So heres what im thinking.
- A new Triumpth 675r
- A 09+ R1 with crossplane
- Or a KTM 690 Smc ( It just looks like sooooo much fun) I like this video minus the endo over the bars.

That would be ideal but I can only test 2 out of the 3 and the 3rd one is what im really wantin. lol
From what I've read the 675r would be a pain (literally) on the roads around here...
Would be my top choice though, I like triples.
KTM bike is sweet to fool around with.

Don't really think you can go wrong with any of those, that 675R is sexy as hell.

Get the SMC ! You already have the SB, but the power of an R1 ... ahh ... and I read about the 675r in this months Sport Rider. Sweet bike man, suspernsion is top of the line. The sound of the triple ahh.
But going from the 954 I don't think you'll like it :/

The perks to ME about the 675 are the looks, what accessories your getting and the quality for the price, and the flickability factor being a little better than the 954.

Well once again, what do you want to do with the bike? You have a sportbike now - do you want something to take to the track, ride in the mtns, or just something else?
I would not understand why you would want two liter bikes, so I kinda say no to the R1 either way ya know? My thoughts would be: everything I hear about the 675 is that it is pure riding joy. Smooth, nimble, confidence inspiring. If I wanted to get better at bike handling, that would be my choice to take to the track.
If you just want something to f*ck around on, yeah, KTM all the way. It'd rip up in the mtns too...

I say get the 675R,... that way I can atleast jerk off on the bike away from the dealership.... but on the other hand, I'm looking at that bike also (as soon as I pay down about another 5-6K in debt!!)
Bottom line, FUCK YOU, right the bike you got!!!!! :)

Thanx John I knew I could count on you. lol
Rich I hear ya, I dont need to liters by anymeans. I guess its more going to come down to the 675 and the ktm. the 675 for a track monster would be cool but I dont get to the track as often as id like, and I could see me riding the shit out of the ktm. So I guess prob solved. Thx for the help.

Well im looking for something new. I mean on my regular rides everyday I rarely see over 120 and if I do it not for very long. But thats just it, I already have a bike that will satisfy my high speed addictions of 140+. I have the Duc at my disposal untill it gets sold for a BADASS twin, the KTM is like 300lbs and is a wheelie and hooligan machine and everyone that I have talked to has said they are over the top fun. Thats the beauty of having both though. The 675 is sweet no doubt but im just thinking im gonna go 12k in debt and wind up with something a little lighter than what I already have.......and a dirtbike is also in the works lol

I say it sounds like you have it narrowed down to a motard, now just pick the right one.
And let me ride it please.
