I know it's not in Tampa but if you are ever up in the North Georgia area (Suches, Helen, Dahlonega) you have to stop at Jim's Smokin Que.
Jim is originally from Sarastota, Fl and moved up to Blairsville, GA with his family about 8 years ago. He's got a smoker outside the gas station on the corner of Hwy 19/129 and Booger Hollow Rd. They have a counter setup inside the gas station with about 8 bar stools.
The BBQ is absolutely outstanding. I had the pulled pork sandwich which is humongous and comes with 2 sides and Everett had a full slab of Baby Back Ribs.
Jim's wife and daughter both work behind the counter and are great people.
