Well, this will be the first major study since the Hurt Report. The biggest failing of most reports is not putting the statistics in perspective, i.e. the number of motorcycle accidents vs. the number of motorcycle riders, then and now. Even the Hurt report failed to establish a comparative base line. The outcome of this report will influence the laws affecting an activity which I believe we all dearly love.

Typical government study, designed by whiz kids, using data collected by weenies,
which was then assimilated & downloaded by chairborne geeks; none of which have ever even thrown their legs over a motorcycle, let alone ride one.
This study probably cost millions and millions of dollars, and wasting every penny of it.
The money that was wasted on this study,
could have been better spent training (or re-training?), cagers on how to correctly make left turns while navigating through on coming traffic!
Interesting find, it basically solidifies my feelings on government studies.
All about information collected, rather than the root cause of the information and or problem.
