replace your coolant (which is a misnomer, because it provides no cooling properties), and use watter wetter or engine ice.
I ran Water wetter in my e-production cars, I just don't remember where to get it. Any local sources?

here is a link, but it is not an unbiased review.

personally i have not used Amsoil, so i could not say, but as long as you change it at regular intervals, you will not have a problem. plus i can get mx4t at the local store with a filter and not have to find a specialty shop, and its $8 or $9 dollars. i have to change mine before i ride again, and will get a firm price.

I've used Amsoil in my Stang since I got it. I've always been happy with it.
$8-$9 per qt? I pay under $7 for Amsoil and most Napa sports carry it.

i will check that out. i have heard good things about amsoil. IMO, most are about the same, it is what is easier for you to get your hands on. plus i dont run oil in the bike more than 3 weekends before i change it out.

Wow, this is all the stuff I've done to mine in the last year and in a couple of wrenching days!! Now it's time for new front brake pads.... HEY LB?!?!?! ;)
Good luck with your wrenching Skip.
There sure are alot of parts on this motorcycle!!!!!
I took plenty of pic's so I would remember where everything went. Hopefully I wont have too many parts left over.

I allready had the factory manual, thanks anyway.....
When other mechanics leave parts & fasteners off it's a mistake. When I do it it is called reducing weight.:D
Here is what I started with:

Here we are almost torn down:

There was a lot of crud on the valves, after 14k miles.

All of this crud is from chain wax. The cover was full of this crap.

Time to put it all back.

That's awesome Skip :occasion1
After two hours of riding, all I can say is WOW!!! What a difference. The engine Idles better, and man does it get through the gears!!! The front wheel comes right up now,(I don't know if that's a good thing). I will have to get a speedo healer for it.
