Swingarm spool repair

had my spool tab snap off on a lowside, are you guys able to repair that or weld a new tab on?

I might be able to go back and grab the piece, i know where i tossed it, not realizing it was the tab and spool that snapped off and not just the spool that popped out :-\

eld... they also make axle spools that would run through the rear axle... Just in case you cant get it welded back on.

Yeah I've considered that too. This way just seemed cheaper, saw a few posts on some other forums that some guys went to a random machine shop and had it welded back on for a $20. I'd rather find a place that at least knows something about bikes to do it if possible though so I figured I'd ask here.

I'm going to try not to find out :D TBH I wouldn't expect it to hold up in a crash, I just want it back on so I can use my rear stand again. If i crashed and it ripped if off, prolly just have it welded back on :P
