Rider, Griffinzx10 CCS AM # 898 1st season racing (and very well could be the last also...)

Sched. Races this year...

Feb 26th Team Hammer at Daytona, no races planed currently.
April 4th - 5th Jennings GP
June 27th- 28th Homestead
Aug 22nd - 23rd Palm Beach Intl (Rescheduled due to personal schedule)
Oct 16th-18th Daytona.

And maybe some other races as well, where i'll get spanked on horsepower, but we will see.

And a big thanks to my buddy ShortyR6 who is planning on doing some races this season with me so we can offset some costs....:occasion1

Finally I would like to thank the 2009 TSB Racing Sponsors...

Thanks everyone I appreciate the words of encouragement...
For those that want to come out, I would recommend coming out to see the CCS races as a whole experience... As for me, i plan on starting in the back, and ending there as well..

Trust me when i say that TSB Racing will NOT be on the podium this year, well unless I am in the only person in that race, i might finish 3rd...

Again, thank you all, and i'll do my best to keep this updated with pre-during-post race experiences

I can probably do these ones as well.

June 27th- 28th Homestead
Aug 22nd - 23rd Palm Beach Intl
Oct 16th-18th Daytona

Unfortunately I can't make the only god damn Jennings race this year. Stupid father getting married that Saturday.
I have been thinking about skipping practice and leaving right after the wedding so I can, try to make it in time to race on Sunday.

I'll also be doing the first race at PBI

I would love to check out the Homestead race. But I think Jennings would be cool too. So April 4th, Jennings, whos coming with me? We could ride up since we wont have to be raced out.

Griff if you need any help in the pit I would love to assist in any way. Im retarded when it comes to motors and/or fixing bikes but I could make sure you have a cold drink after the race.

Valentino Griffy signs would be hilarious.

Psst Mods, thanks for the merge

Statistically, the slowest guys in the dry are usually the fastest guys in the wet. So now you'll def make the podium. :)

The races are all on sunday, sat is practice. The fee is bigger than a normal track day at jennings.

CCS FL charges 25.00 fee for the weekend, or just 20 for sunday i believe.
Then there will be races all day on sunday, all different classes for both Amatuer and Expert. Also i heard from the guy that runs CCS FL, that the USGPU (i think that is what it is called) will also be running on sunday, so there will be a lot of racing to watch all day on sunday...

I think, this will be my first time ever attending a CCS race weekend, as well as actually participating in one..

Shorty, ha ha ha nice

I am pre-registered so i am riding no matter what..

Just an FYI.
You still have to register race weekend.
Henry holds your check till after race weekend. If you don't register it never gets cashed.

This is why a lot of guys register for all the races at the start of the year. That way they get a good grid position and if they can't make the race no big deal.

I figured i still had to check in/register this weekend, and I spoke to Henry yesterday and he told me about that which is pretty cool of him....

But i am gonna go no matter what, if it rains, oh well, at least my leathers get broken in better... ha ha

There was a really great article series about this privateer who went and lived in the basement of his sister to afford racing. he wrote an article in every issue of the magazine. I believe it was road racing world. He talked about all the pitfalls that you should avoid. Ill check if i can find the articles but it was very informative

Good Luck Griff!!! Remember a wet track is a great equalizer...............

Was hoping to get in on the Jennings race but procrastined way too much and funds are low. I did finally get my numbers and racing skins. Plan on hanging the skins next week with alot of help from Donny @ Dynoworks. May try to shoot for the race @ Homestead June 27th 28th

Good Luck and ride safe. See you all in May at the PA track weekend............

Mounting the skins isnt that bad, Randy (wasntme) helped me a lot with mine, and i am sure donny has done many sets over the years.... Have fun, take your time and most importantly....

The '07 lives for the straights and it's motor hits hard. The '08 keeps the monster motor but smooths it out a bit and adds a level of cornering agility and front end feel the '07 lacked.

yeah i am bringing a few fans for while i am there. One good thing about homestead is the garages, that cement stays cool, plenty of shade, and if we are lucky, there might be a breeze.

I am just not happy about the weather forcast so far, this might be my first time riding in the rain...
