Seen something like this on the biker build off show on Discovery channel a couple years back. Love the idea. I like this bike except for the spikes on the hubs.

Billy Lane also did something similar (rear wheel)

Just thinking here, but I wonder how hard it is to change the tire. Not just off of the hub, but getting the rear hub off the bike too.

Bikes like that generally never see enough miles to ever wear a tire out

funny how they hide all the interesting bits like the bearing assemblies, but leave the boring shit like belts hanging out in the wind. :(

ya ya, someone's going to say "But they don't want everyone copying their hard work to make the hubless bike, duh !"

sorry, don't think suzuki will run to patent this for sport bikes anytime soon ;)

kinda neat piece of art, wouldn't call it a bike though.

If you do a wheelie will the front wheel fall off?

my thoughts exactly. I like the traditional styled wheels. just easier to me.

I think its pretty sharp but maintenence on that thing would prolly be a bitch... and yeah I dont ever see changing tires to be a problem, its for show and thats about it... with the rake and the forks being so low I bet it would be a pain in the ass to ride

oh good....right on point. I would rather see all the trick inner workings also.

The other bike from Billy Lane.... I do not think he built that bike or at least not without help. I have seen him on several of the Biker Build Off shows and he is a monkey. He only won those shows because of his personality and looks. I was totally not impressed by anything he did in his shop especially compared to the bikes he went up against.

Don't wanna burst anyone's bubble's but this was already done back in the late 80's early 90's by Italian designer Sbarro..He started with a monster truck and a sports car..also did a motorcycle and bicycle..he has the patents on it already..so this is really nothing new to me..
