New potential meet place

I know this maybe a little far but I think we should check this place out it looks like it will be a lot of fun and Sideshow and a few others I am sure will feel at home. This restaurant was voted in the 10 Best Most Unusual Places to Eat in the world in its practically in our back yard. So check he web-site and post up! If we get a good response I will call them and set something up. This will most likely be a weekend thing because its in Bradenton, so we can get a ride together and that can be a lunch point!

Its on the Braden River, they also do canoe trips out of there also

Right around Moccasin Wallow becareful they time from the sky a lot and the popo sit under the overpass and come n getcha

they also sit on I-275 overpass and watch the cars going underneath. You can't see them headed northbound untill its way too late. don't ever speed through it unless you plan on runnin. The south bound speed trap is at moccasin wallow but usualy in the afternoon.

I was planning on riding down there on Sunday the 24th to watch some drag racing at Bradenton Motorsports Park. It would be waaay cooler to ride down with a group. My grandmother lives a couple of streets down from the Linger Lodge, never eaten there though.

They really started beefing up patrols..they are every where lately. I know they just jacked the base of speeding fines to 104.00+ mileage, but wow..I think I see 2 or 3 a day just riding from my house and they always have someone pulled over.
For pinellas I've caught them sitting in the "v" @ exit 16 to catch both sides of traffic.
the east side bushes before second bridge coming off skyway..got nailed doing 90 there :sinister:
2 unmarked in the flow of traffic. gold ford explorer, and i think it was a dark blue dodge interceptor.
also seen them sit in west bushes between gandy/park blvd exit and Roosevelt exit...
in bradenton I've notice they have more unmarked patrol cars pulling people over from the flow of traffic. I very rarely ride my bike down there because of what I've seen..and I was talking to manatee county sheriff the other day, and he said fhp pulled him over and gave him a ticket...soo their out to nail for some reason..

Maybe I missed something but what has that got to do with this post.

I live in Pinellas and work in Bradenton so I drive these roads everyday... and I can say I haven't seen any difference in police force. I rarely see police officers in Bradenton. Most of the ones I see are in Palmetto. FHP is always waiting at the end of the skyway just like they are sitting on the end of the Bayside and the end of Howard Franklin. Just don't be stupid when you come off the bridge.
