Want to learn how to do an axle or clean carbs?

Come over! Doing it on my '04 raptor. I did half the axle friday, but going to finish it today, and then in the afternoon I will pull the carbs and clean them (since I want to wait till the afternoon so I don't wake the neighbors). Just sold one on ebay for a hopping 25.00......took 30 minutes to break free from the carrier.

I would seriously consider buying one. I live in north st pete. Only place I have heard of "close" to really ride is Ocala.

theres a big place up in Zephyrhills. wasntme know where its at. I been out ther and there are allot of woops and nice trails. you can ride all day and still have places undiscovered.

argh... I didn't loosen BOTH allen screws, just one of them. Didn't realize until the god damned thing was apart. Took me 25 min to clean the carbs, 2 hours for the *(@#$*@(*$$ axle.

1) Rancheo/Zhills

A)Direction>Take I 75 North to SR 54 and head East. Go to the 6th stop light...there will be a Home Depot on the left. Turn left. Follow that road till you cross 301..there is a Wal Greens on the corner of 54 and 301. Keep heading East on 54. IF THE ROAD IS CLOSED FOLLOW THE DETOUR SIGNS. If you have to follow the detour then turn left onto 54. If you do not have to follow the detour keep heading straight on 54 (it is actually called Old 54) it is several miles down on the right. You will pass a welding place then a few houses. Once you see a sign for Caroll Street it within a hundred feet. It is a dirt road on the right and there is also a sign for 98 2 miles. If you hit 98 then turn around and go back 2 miles and now the dirt road will be on the left. There is parking all along the dirt road. If possible we will park in the front...which is about 20ft off of the main dirt road on the right.

yup...axle is a beetch!

let me know if you ever need parts for that thing...I've parted 2 of them and I have alot of little things left.

Yah I have the money, but if it is going to cost me a ton in gas just to haul it to the riding spots its not gonna be worth it to me. Is there anything closer to st. pete then the zhills?
