I have a ringing in my ears that is very frequent, something that I didn't have prior to riding a motorcycle. I've only ridden for just over 3k, but this sucks. So now I'm wearing ear plugs, which is kinda a hassle, but I don't want to do anymore damage if motorcycling is causing it (just guessing, since it is noisy).

Anyone else notice hearing problems since riding? Wear plugs? I haven't finished the speakers in helmet yet and I wonder if I can even hear the music with the earplugs in.

Ringing in the ears, tinitis, is an early indication of hearing loss. I have been flying on C-130's for 8 years and have lost some high frequency hearing. I wear ear plugs when I ride and when I fly. You have to pay to play.
