Chatterbox

Does anyone have any info on the Chatterbox? I just got the X2 model. I want to see some feed back before I install it. I have heard good and bad things about it.

I just ordered the same one, with extra headset, ext cord and audio cord(for the wife when we're 2 up)

I will want to test it out as soon as mine comes in so if you need someone to test yours with let me know

wasnt me said he has mixed feeling about it some times it works ans sometimes it doesnt, he also has the x1 model (which is the 5mile range) but him and his wife use it out in the woods which would think that might case some interferance

I had one a couple of years ago. They are worthless on the highway, but at around town speeds they work quite well. Also the voice activation was more of a hassle that it was worth. I got to the point where I used the push to talk only. I sold mine because the novilty wore off and I didn't use it anymore. One interesting thing to note was that occasionally we would pick up truckers on them.

I've used the cheaper model a few times and it is really hard to hear. You have to mess with the voice activation sensitivity quite a bit. Really sucks to have the chatterbox that whoever you're talking to be open mike so you can hear the scream of your motorcycle AND theirs. Not impressed with the ones I've used.

They work great with push to talk. They all suck with Voice Activation at speeds over 25.

wasntme said that he whistles or makes some sort of noise to get the Voice Activation to work before he talks or it will work like crap -
